Planning a company event means keeping a lot of people happy at once: leadership, the team, guests, and the venue. DJ Sam House has been DJing and MCing events across Los Angeles for more than 20 years, and I know that a corporate event needs a different touch than a wedding. The music has to fit the room, the announcements have to land on time, and everything has to run without you needing to think about it.

What you can count on
A professional MC. I handle welcome remarks, introductions, award walk-ups and toasts in a clear, friendly voice that keeps the program on schedule. We'll go over the run of show ahead of time, so speakers know when they're on.
Music that reads the room. Background music during dinner and networking, at a volume people can talk over. When it's time to dance, I build the energy gradually, with music that works for a mixed-age crowd and stays workplace-appropriate.
Clean, professional setup. Tidy equipment that fits your venue and your brand, set up and tested before guests arrive. Wireless microphones for speakers are part of the plan.
Easy planning. You get one point of contact. I'll coordinate with your venue and event planner on load-in times, power and timing, so there's one less thing on your list.
Pricing
Corporate events Sunday through Friday start at $1,200 for 4 hours. Saturday events start at $1,800 for 4 hours. Additional hours are $250 per hour.
Add-ons:
- Uplighting: 12 fixtures for $300, a simple way to make a hotel ballroom or office space feel like an event.
- Other lighting: available on request.
- Satellite setups: a separate sound system for a second space, such as a reception area or a breakout room, is available.

I'm based in Los Angeles and serve events throughout LA County and Southern California, from downtown offices and hotel ballrooms to rooftop venues and outdoor company picnics.

How far ahead should we book?
Holiday party season (November and December) fills up fast, so reach out as early as you can. For other times of year, a few months ahead is ideal, but it's always worth asking about your date.
