A great party comes down to the people and the music. You bring the people, and DJ Sam House will take care of the music. For more than 20 years I’ve DJed and MCed celebrations across Los Angeles, from backyard birthdays to anniversary dinners, and I love helping a family or a group of friends turn a good party into one everyone remembers.

How I approach your party
Music built around your guests. Before the party, we'll talk about who's coming and what they love. Whether it's a mix of decades for a family crowd or the latest hits for a teen party, I play what gets your guests dancing and leave out what doesn't.
An MC who keeps it fun. I can handle welcomes, toasts, cake cutting, special dances and any surprises you've got planned, so the night flows and nobody has to look at a schedule.
Set up for any space. Homes, backyards, restaurants, rented halls, rooftops. I set up neatly, keep volume right for the room and the neighbors, and pack up cleanly at the end.
Simple planning. You'll have one point of contact from first message to last song. We'll go over timing, song requests and any special moments ahead of time.
Pricing
Private parties start at $1,200 for 4 hours, Sunday through Friday. Saturday parties start at $1,800 for 4 hours. Additional hours are $250 per hour.
Add-ons:
- Uplighting: 12 fixtures for $300, a quick way to give a backyard or hall a party glow.
- Other lighting: available on request.
- Satellite setups: a separate sound setup for a second area, such as a patio or a dinner space, is available.

Can we send you a playlist or a do-not-play list?
Yes, please do. I'll use your must-plays and do-not-plays as the foundation and fill in around them based on how the crowd responds.
Do you DJ parties at private homes and backyards?
Yes. I just need a flat area for the setup and access to power. Let me know about any noise rules or end times, and I'll plan around them.
Can you MC toasts and special moments?
Absolutely. I'll help with welcomes, toasts, cake cutting, first dances or a surprise announcement, and keep everything on time.
How much space do you need?
Not much. A small area near an outlet is usually enough. Tell me about your space and I'll let you know exactly what works.
